💼The opportunity:
We are currently seeking a Legal and Compliance Officer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that the company operates in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
💰Salary:
32K – 36K
💻Responsabilities:
Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of an effective compliance programme to prevent and detect violations of legal and regulatory requirements;
Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may affect the business;
Provide support to internal departments by delivering in-depth analyses and legal advice;
Develop and enforce policies and procedures to promote compliance throughout the organisation;
Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance-related matters;
Conduct internal audits and investigations to monitor and assess compliance levels;
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that compliance requirements are fully integrated into business processes and practices.
🛠️Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or a related field;
Proven experience in a compliance role;
In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards;
An aptitude for understanding Information & Communication Technology–related processes and risks will be considered a plus;
Previous experience with management systems (ISO standards) will be considered a plus;
Good command of written and spoken English;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information;
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
