💼The opportunity:
We are looking to recruit a talented IT Operations Support II. You will be responsible for the operational management and resolution of technical issues related to systems and applications used in a banking environment. The main objective is to ensure the operational continuity of microservices and infrastructure, guaranteeing adequate response times and proper functioning of processes.

💻 Responsibilities:
- First-Level Support: Perform morning checks to verify the proper operation of systems and respond to user-reported issues, providing first-level technical support.
- Second-Level Support: Analyze and resolve complex issues that cannot be addressed at the first level; Handle escalations of alarms; Collaborate with development teams for configuration changes and releases.
- Reporting and Communication: Create reports on anomalies and interventions performed; Communicate detected issues and the actions taken to internal stakeholders.
- Incident Management: Address API downtime reports or anomalies in Kafka workflows; Resolve configuration-related issues; Restart microservices or Kubernetes pods when necessary.
- Monitoring and Diagnosis: Monitor the infrastructure using tools like Grafana to identify anomalies (e.g., Kafka Lag, Kubernetes pod restarts, increased latency, high response times); Check the status of microservices (Kubernetes pods, memory usage, HTTP, etc.); Analyze logs and system errors to identify the causes of reported issues.
🛠️ Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science;
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in complex environments with microservices and cloud technologies (at least 2 years);
- Familiarity with Kafka technologies and workflow monitoring;
- Good understanding of Java and microservices;
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB;
- Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana;
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes (e.g., managing pods and containers);
- Basic troubleshooting and debugging: the ability to identify and resolve common technical issues, interpret error messages, and understand log files;
- Command line (Shell) proficiency: comfortably navigating and performing basic operations using command-line tools (e.g., navigating directories, file manipulation, running commands);
- Remote access (SSH): understanding of how to access and manage remote systems securely via SSH (Secure Shell);
- System monitoring and alerts: familiarity with monitoring tools and the ability to identify system issues based on alerts or performance metrics;
- Basic networking concepts: Understanding of network protocols and basic connectivity troubleshooting, such as pinging systems, checking ports, etc.
- Collaboration and communication: ability to work in a team, follow instructions, and effectively communicate issues and solutions.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Teamwork and collaboration with multiple teams;
- Flexibility and the ability to handle emergencies.

- Operational during weekdays, with on-call availability on holidays;
- Willingness to handle critical situations outside regular working hours (on-call duty).
